Davion T. Brown

Davion has over 12 years of experience as a Theatre Professional under his belt, in various avenues of the profession. Including; Acting, Directing, Writing, and Choreography. He broke into performing at a young age. His first performance was in A Raisin In The Sun (Travis), in the United States.

Davion is a Theatre Artist, a Theatre Educator, and a Theatre Researcher. He is currently working in the United States.

Davion is an Independent Theatre Practitioner. Independence is important to Davion as an artist. Since without any representation or big-name producers backing him, Davion strives to prove that a sustainable career as an independent artist is indeed possible.

 

As an independent artist, Davion has; a lengthy and ongoing Acting career, obtained several theatrical research grants, had two of his written plays produced, and more. Davion has even more projects in development.

Above all though, Davion is an Actor. He has held the roles of several iconic characters, including Hamlet. Davion is also touted as an Actor of great versatility; being cast in several productions where he seamlessly plays a multitude of characters within one show. Shows such as; The Laramie Project, Corpus Christi, and Metamorphosis, to name a few. Please view his resume page for more info.

With all work being gained of his own volition, Davion is very proud of his track record thus far, stating; "I simply want to make a career out of doing what I love to do, and that's Acting."
